Jonathan Gaskill

Jonathan Gaskill, MD
Loma Linda University


Dr. Gaskill is originally from Yakima Washington. His current interests include biking, snow skiing, eating good food and the occasional video game. Dr. Gaskill's medical interests include outpatient medicine, urgent care, and procedures.
Christopher Holloway

Christopher Holloway, MD
Loma Linda University


Dr. Holloway is a native Michigander who was drawn to the Buckeye State by the Ohio sunshine, the reasonable cost of living, and close family proximity. He completed medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA in 2013. He has a BS in Biology with a minor in music with a concentration in Piano. He enjoys international travel, music, reading, local outreach projects, and apple pie. His dream is to practice full spectrum family medicine in the future. In his downtime, he enjoys binge-watching HGTV with his wife.
Isaac Koh

Isaac Koh, MD, MPH

Dr. Koh was born in Pontiac, Michigan; grew up in Boulder, Colorado; went to undergrad in Texas, and received his MPH and MD in California. His three greatest passions are missions, working with children, and soccer. He has traveled to over 30 countries. Other hobbies include running, boogie boarding, cooking, and exploring cities for good restaurants.

Michael Nwosu

Dr. Nwosu is from the great state of California. In his free time, he likes playing sports, hiking, camping and pretty much any outdoor activities, but above all he loves to eat. He is passionate about Family Medicine and the ability to partner with each individual under his care in to help them reach their dreams and enjoy a life they work so hard to deserve. He is also passionate about global health and medical missions, and hopes to practice these on a larger scale in the future.
Steven Tomlinson

Dr. Tomlinson and his wife are from Bakersfield, California. He and his wife enjoy spending time with friends in pretty much any setting. When they have free time, they can also be found at home spending time with their cat and German Shepherd. He plans on to stay in the Dayton area to practice Family Medicine in the outpatient setting with interests in Sports Medicine and Preventive Medicine.

Dr. Tran is originally from Orange County, California. Her interests can be summarized in the John Muir quote, "The mountains are calling and I must go."

Claire Nelson

Dr. Nelson grew up on a wheat farm near Conrad, Montana. Her interests include exploring the Rocky Mountains, gardening, snowboarding, and trying new dessert recipes (which the program appreciates!). Her career dream is to go back to Montana to practice rural Family Medicine.
Jerika Ortlieb

Dr. Ortlieb grew up in a small town about 45 minutes east of Beavercreek, Ohio. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and two rescue dogs, read, binge watch television/movies, and explore new places. Dr. Ortlieb has interests in full spectrum, academic, and rural family medicine. One of her passions is global health and has had the privilege of serving her global community in Ghana, Jamaica, and Greece.
Joshua Slusher

Joshua Slusher, DO

Dr. Slusher is from Fairborn, Ohio. He is an Eagle scout and enjoys camping, hiking, campfires and campfire meals. He has a wonderful 12-year-old daughter. Together they enjoy going to movies, amusement parks and playing video games. He hopes to make people smile when they need it and help in any way he can through his service in medicine.

Dr. Stofer is from Mansfield, Ohio. He enjoys traveling, running, hiking and reading. Dr. Stofer has a passion for refugee and underserved medicine as he is the founder/director of a medical NGO in Peru called The Rural Amazonian Health Initiative that serves rural jungle communities with limited access to health care. He is also involved with the global community within the greater Dayton region. He also earned an MPH from Wright State University with a focus in Global Health.
Justin Tuot

Dr. Tuot was born and raised in Southern California. He married his lovely wife in April of 2018. They have a Golden Retriever puppy that keeps them busy. His interests include the L.A. Clippers and singing/songwriting. Interesting fact: he has severe ankyloglossia which particularly perplexes his wife, who is a speech pathologist.
Michael Villasin

Dr. Villasin is from Orange County, California. During his down time, he enjoys snowboarding, basketball, and running. He is interested in pursuing a focus in Sports Medicine. A unique fact about Dr. Villasin is that he has traveled to over 50 countries and counting (top 3 in no particular order: Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Norway).

Adam Bussey, MD

Adam Bussey is from Ontario, Canada. He received a BA in religious studies at Burman University in Alberta, then worked as a youth pastor for a year in Kelowna, British Columbia. Following this, he received his medical degree from Loma Linda University. His interests include playing guitar, writing songs, leading praise and worship at church, and almost anything outdoors. He has a passion for helping others find wholeness and believes finding Christ is an important part of this process. Mental health is a focus area he has for his career in Family Medicine.
Ally Halderman, DO

Allyson Halderman, D.O. was born in Washington C.H. Ohio where she lived on a farm and showed pigs in 4-H. The buzz of city life drew her in for a while and she got her B.S. in Biology at The Ohio State University and then medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine — Dublin Campus. She is passionate about OMT and did a one-year primary care/OMT associateship between her third and fourth year of medical school. She is passionate about Jesus and how faith can be a part of medicine. She enjoys collecting smashed pennies, playing disc golf and Irish-step dancing in her free time.

Dr. Khan was born in Chicago, IL; raised in the Lone Star State of Texas. In his free time, he really enjoys playing sports, photography, hiking, the outdoors and world travel. He is passionate about making a difference through medical mission trips and practicing full spectrum family medicine.

Dr. Oswill is from Battle Creek, Michigan. She enjoys traveling, plants, anything crafty and spending time with her husband and two incredibly adorable dogs. She is particularly interested in rural and global health and plans to practice full-spectrum medicine. Some of her favorite memories are from traveling, especially her global health service trips to Peru and Malawi. She excited to join the community in Dayton, OH!
Sara Tisherman, MD

Dr Tisherman is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. She attended Connecticut College for her undergraduate degree, where she majored in German Studies. Then she worked with AmeriCorps VISTA in Waterville, Maine for a year developing a program to combat childhood obesity. Afterward she moved to Dayton, Ohio for medical school at Wright State University. She really enjoys the variety of Family Medicine and plans to pursue a fellowship in Sports Medicine.
Matt Yeager, MD, MBA

Dr. Yeager was born and raised in Steubenville, Ohio. He received his undergraduate degree from Kent State University before moving to New York City to study music production. While in New York, he also received an MBA from Baruch College. Dr. Yeager graduated medical school from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, Maelyn and Myles. He also enjoys playing music, running, biking and being outdoors.
