Soin Medical Center celebrates its 5th anniversary with summer concert

July 11, 2017

Concert features Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra & Moment’s Notice

Soin Medical Center continues its 5th anniversary celebration with the Sounds of Summer concert featuring the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra on Sunday, July 16 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Soin Medical Center is located at 3535 Pentagon Blvd. in Beavercreek next to The Mall at Fairfield Commons.

The Dayton Philharmonic is a fully professional orchestra comprised of musicians who also teach in area high schools, universities and privately. Music Director and Conductor Neal Gittleman continues to broaden the Orchestra's repertoire with more 20th century compositions and additional variety in programming. He has introduced a number of world, American and Dayton Philharmonic premieres and has expanded performance collaboration within the Dayton arts community. With Maestro Gittleman at the helm, the Orchestra continues to enjoy renewed community support and increased artistic vision.

The opening act for the concert is Moment's Notice, a local pop/jazz band. Band members Felita LaRock, Dave Cousino, Dave Haworth, Shawn Stanley and Jerry Noble served in U.S. Air Force as Bandsmen. The band's members have performed with legends including Stevie Wonder, The Miracles, and Art Garfunkel.

Refreshments will be available for sale. Please bring your own chair. Coolers, pets and smoking are NOT permitted.
