Kettering Health Network has been recognized by The College of Healthcare Information Management (CHIME) as a 2020 Digital Health Most Wired recipient.

The CHIME recognition assesses how effectively health care organizations apply core and advanced technologies to their clinical and business programs, helping improve health and care in their communities. Some of the advanced technologies available to patients, providers, and clinical employees at Kettering Health Network include

• Patient ability to connect with providers and medical information via MyChart online and the MyChart app
• Secure remote access to health information technology for providers
• Secure mobile integration with bedside monitoring equipment that reduces time needed to document patient data which reduces transcription errors
• Updated network infrastructure and backing up patient data to a disaster recovery site

Over 30,000 organizations were represented in the 2020 Digital Health Most Wired program. This year’s program included four surveys: domestic, ambulatory, long-term care, and international.

The surveys assessed the adoption, integration, and impact of technologies in health care organizations at all stages of development.
