Recipe: Roasted Balsamic Asparagus

This roasted balsamic asparagus is the perfect side dish for your healthy dinner.

Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients:

1 pound fresh asparagus

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ teaspoon salt (optional)

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

¼ cup finely shredded parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Arrange asparagus in a single layer in a shallow 11x17-inch baking dish. Drizzle asparagus with oil; gently toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle with salt (if desired) and pepper.
  3. Bake 14 to 16 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drizzle balsamic glaze over asparagus; roll again with tongs to coat. Top with cheese.
