Rita Detmer, a certified athletic trainer and performance enhancement specialist, teaches this class that focuses on strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility for all seniors, regardless of fitness level. We’ll have a 10-minute functional warm-up, followed by different exercise stations and low-impact cardio. We’ll finish with 10 minutes of functional stretching. Exercises are demonstrated for both beginners and those looking for more of a challenge. Wear comfortable, movable clothes and a stable pair of shoes. Feel free to bring a hand towel and water.
