Grief can come to us in many different ways: perhaps it is the death of a loved one, the loss of a family member to dementia, losing a pet who has been your closest companion, or saying goodbye to a parent, child or your best friend. Saying goodbye to one phase of life and transitioning into the next is never easy. The Grief Support Group led by Ray Vance offers help to those who are experiencing all types of grief. It is a safe place to share your loss and know that you are not alone.
Ray Vance is the Bereavement Coordinator with Kindred Hospice in Dayton, Ohio. He companions with those who have experienced loss, helping them navigate through their grief experience. He graduated from Cincinnati Christian University and completed his Chaplain residency at Ohio State University. Through the years he has led support groups on a variety of topics, including: Losing a Loved One, The Importance of Spirtuality in Addiction Recovery and Family Support through Addicition. His passion is to met people where they are in their life journey, letting them know they are not alone and helping them find their way.
