Bladder Confidence Program
Our therapists in the Dance Medicine Program are specialized and trained in dance specific equipment for rehabilitation and performance enhancement of the dancer.
Kettering Sports Medicine Center works with dancers and gymnasts of all ages, as well as the Dayton Ballet, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, and Kids Are TOPS
We offer physical therapy with dance specific exercises using Pilates, the Pilates reformer, and Gyrotonic Expansion. Dancers and gymnasts can continue working
with us after completing physical therapy in one of our fitness programs, including combining our Sports Acceleration program with Pilates. Our programs are

Our exercise physiologists and certified strength and conditioning specialists can help you reach your fitness goals with a program designed just for you. We can
assess your current level of physical fitness, help you set goals, develop an effective exercise program, and monitor your progress. Your muscular strength,
muscular endurance, flexibility, body composition, and blood pressure will all be measured.

Our sports nutritionist, Dr. Cindy Cassell, can help you develop skills related to nutrition choices, physical activity, stress management, and behavior
modification. All nutrition plans are individualized. You will learn how much protein, carbohydrate, and fat is in your current diet; as well as any nutrients
that your diet may be deficient in such as zinc, calcium, or iron.
Athletes will receive information on caloric intake directed towards performance enhancement. You will also be guided on what to eat and drink before, during, and
after events and training sessions.
Food coaching which includes analysis of your favorite restaurants with attention to convenience, budget, nutritional content, and personal likes and dislikes is
also available. Our staff can provide follow-up nutritional e-mails to provide ongoing expert advice.

Dayton Sports Medicine Institute is pleased to announce their involvement with Wright State University's Division of Tactical Emergency Medicine and various SWAT teams throughout South West Ohio. DSMI will be offering athletic training and tactical medicine services to SWAT members during training exercises and active missions. The Athletic Trainers assigned to DTEM will offer support to the SWAT teams for musculoskeletal injuries, as well as be a liaison between the mission and further medical assistance as necessary. Dayton Sports Medicine Institute offers one of only seven athletic trainers in the country working as an Athletic Trainer/Tactical Medic. Athletic Workshop offers specific programs for every need and every age. Our state of the art 35,000 sq. ft. training facility has everything a person needs to meet their goals. Athletic Workshop offers a 60 yard sprinting track, field turf, basketball court, weight room with Olympic lifting platforms and squat racks, vertimax jump trainers, therapy pool and on-site Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapist and Orthopedic Surgeons.

Pelvic Control Therapy
The mission of Kettering Health Network's Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy program is to help patients regain control of their lives by diagnosing and treating embarrassing pelvic problems. We offer patients access to discreet, professional and compassionate therapists to address their bladder, bowel, and dropped organ problems. In addition, therapists work with patients with a variety of pelvic floor disorders including bowel and bladder control problems, pre- and postpartum conditions, osteitis pubis, painful intercourse, and post-operative rehabilitation. We are committed to working with patients to restore self-confidence, independence, and quality of life.
Fort Hamilton Sports Medicine is comprised of experienced state licensed and nationally certified athletic trainers. Our athletic trainers provide services for a spectrum athletes, organized sporting activities, and public service personnel.
In collaboration with Dayton Sports Medicine Institute, Fort Hamilton Sports Medicine provides athletic training services for Hamilton Police and SWAT. Athletic trainers support Hamilton Police and SWAT for assessment of various musculoskeletal injuries associated with on the job events and training exercises.
