The Family Medicine Residency here at Soin Medical Center is committed to promoting an environment of educational excellence for the next generation of patient centered, compassionate family physicians who will meet the needs of their community. As a native of Dayton, Ohio I personally am invested in the community of patients we serve and developing residents who will be a part of the future of family medicine, here in Ohio and in your own future communities.
Having trained at an unopposed community hospital, I recognize the benefits of being able to develop your skills in residency and focus the educational experience to meet your personal career goals. Our faculty at Soin have a breadth of practice experiences that create a well-rounded residency experience. Personally, I practice full spectrum family medicine with particular interests in hospital medical care, transitions of care, substance use disorders, population health and women's health including obstetrical care. Additionally, I have seen the benefits of simulation and alternative teaching methods in the inpatient and obstetrical setting and look forward to utilizing multiple avenues to provide the needed educational opportunities. As a Graduate Medical Education faculty member for my entire career, I greatly enjoy working with students and residents to meet your educational, career and personal needs. Kettering Health Network has a history of excellence in Graduate Medical Education and we are excited to be a part of the team with our Family Medicine Residency.
