Sleep-Wake Cycle
Lifestyles that require an irregular sleep/wake pattern, such as alternating shift work or frequent cross-country flights (jetlag) may result in chronic difficulty in falling asleep at conventional times.
Parasomnia
Sleep walking, nighttime seizures, night terrors & bed wetting. These disorders occur during specific sleep states.
Periodic Limb Movement Syndrome
Periodic Limb Movement Syndrome (PLMS) is characterized by highly periodic repetitive limb movements that occur during sleep. The limb movements are most common in the feet or lower legs but occasionally may occur in the arms. Patients with restless legs frequently also have PLMS, but patients with PLMS may not have restless legs.
