In 2011, we served 354 patients; 75% were able to return directly to a community setting and only 7% required discharge/transfer to an acute medical setting. Our average length of stay in rehab was 11 days. Post-stroke rehab average was 12.6 days, 8.5 days following joint replacement and 10.2 days for lower extremity fractures; overall lower than both regional and national averages.
