What is pulmonary rehab?
This is an individualized program which allows you to live a more independent lifestyle with a respiratory condition. The program includes one on one education and exercise classes which teach you about your lung condition, how to exercise and do daily activities of with less shortness of breath.
Who is pulmonary rehab for?
Pulmonary rehab is for people of all ages who are suffering from any chronic lung illness. Patients range from high school athletes with asthma, to seniors that no longer can make it through the grocery store.

Our classes are conducted by skilled health care professionals in a one-on-one setting. The classes are always tailored to your individual needs.
How do I measure if it's helping?

How do I enroll in the pulmonary rehab program?

locations, or check with your physician about enrolling. Your plan of care is coordinated with your physician.
Is pulmonary rehab program covered by insurance?
Most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, provide reimbursement for pulmonary rehabilitation. Please check with your provider. In some cases we can offer HCAP.
Can I enter pulmonary rehab if I smoke?
If you smoke, make a serious effort to quit. Kettering Health Network offers smoking cessation programs to help you break the habit. Pulmonary rehab can help support you during this process.
Can I participate if I am on oxygen?
Yes. No matter your case, the team at Kettering Health Network will work with you to design a plan that is individualized just for you.
