Learning Management System for Education
The Kettering Health Network (KHN) utilizes a state of art learning management system to provide the latest in online and computer-based learning, testing, and competency assessment.
The Learning Management System contains extensive content developed not only in the Kettering Health Network but by well-known content experts in various health professions who work in world-class medical centers across the country. Each employee has their own account which includes a learning tab with required and optional self-enrolled assignments, a permanent transcript which includes ongoing access to study content and CNE certificates, and an extensive catalog of well-developed online courses for professional development and advancement.
Computer based learning is also utilized for BLS and ACLS renewal and in some cases for PALS and NRP renewal. Renewing American Heart Association Emergency Cardiovascular Care programs with online and hands-on assessment assures high quality, thorough, and standardized processes which award the same American Heart Association course completion cards as live programs do. Employees may renew their status for these programs within a generous window of opportunity on their own schedule and in multiple sessions if desired.
