Clinical Ladder Program

Growth is one of Kettering Health Networks (KHN) key values. This is evident by our unique clinical ladder. The program promotes the expertise of the nurse while rewarding them as they develop professionally. By participating, the Registered Nurse is demonstrating a commitment to advancing the care of the patients and families we serve. This is accomplished by becoming involved in committees, working toward specialty certifications, and doing a research project or an improvement activity. KHN acknowledges these nurses by providing monetary bonuses, changing staff titles, and creating a forum in which they can mentor others. Those people who partake in the program find that the reward system indicates the Network's promise to making professional growth a priority.
