The Hernia Center at Soin Medical Center refers to general surgeons throughout Kettering Health Network at Kettering, Grandview, Sycamore, Southview, Greene, Soin, and Fort Hamilton medical centers. Gary Anderson, DO

Anderson DO, Gary  General Surgery

Dr. Anderson is a graduate of the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. Following his general surgery residency, he completed fellowships in Trauma Surgery and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Anderson is board certified in general surgery and critical care medicine. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the Wright State University School of Medicine.  He is a member of the American Hernia Society, the American Osteopathic Association, and Montgomery County Medical Society.

 

 

Andrew Archer, DO, FACOS

Dr. Andrew Archer has practiced in the greater Dayton area since 2002. He is a highly skilled and experienced surgeon with excellent outcomes, having performed thousands of procedures, trained other surgeons and lectured on surgical techniques. 

Linda Bailey, MD

Bailey MD, Linda  General Surgery

Dr. Bailey is a lifelong resident of Beavercreek, Ohio in Greene County. She received her B.A. and Master degrees from Wright State University; her Medical Degree from The Ohio State University. Dr. Bailey has performed between 20,000 and 30,000 procedures since being in practice in Greene County specializing in advanced laparoscopic procedures and endoscopies. Dr. Bailey is the Trauma Director of Soin Medical Center and the Associate Medical Director of Trauma at Greene Memorial Hospital. She is active in the EMS community. She enjoys spending time with her husband, children and pets. She is an avid golfer and also likes swimming.

Gregory Carpenter, MD

Carpenter MD, Gregory  General Surgery

Dr. Carpenter specializes in general surgery and hernia repair.  He performs advanced laparoscopic Surgeries and is proficient in robotic surgery.

He is an Ohio native and earned his undergraduate degree at Wright State University and a Masters in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.  He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX.  He is Board Certified in General Surgery.

He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Hernia Society, and Butler County Medical Society.

David Deutsch, MD

Dr. David Deutsch is board certified in General Surgery and has been in practice and that specialty for over 25 years. He received his M.D. from the University of Oklahoma and did his general surgery residency training through Wright State University.  Dr. Deutsch performs surgery to repair a wide variety of hernias, many of which are done laparoscopically.

Gaeta is a Trauma Care physician practicing in our Kettering Acute Care Surgery – Trauma Program.  Dr. Gaeta motto is patients first.  His commitment to patient care mirrors the Network’s mission to improve the quality of life of the people in the communities we serve.  He is also fluent in Spanish.

Ryan Grote, DO

Dr. Grote is a Hamilton native who earned his medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a general surgery residency at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton. Dr. Grote grew up in Hamilton and is dedicated to providing timely, compassionate expert surgical care to the community he loves. He collaborates with patients, patients’ family members, and involved physicians to create personalized care plans for each patient.   

Michael Keller, MD

Dr. Michael Keller is an Ohio native, born in Columbus and raised in Springfield.  He decided he wanted to be a physician at a very early age, and was educated and trained in Dayton.  Throughout his career his practice has continued in the Dayton Community.

Christopher Madison, MD

Dr. Christopher K. Madison received his Medical Degree from Wright State University School of Medicine.  He performed his internship and residency at Miami Valley Hospital/Wright State University School of Medicine.  He specializes in general surgery and GI endoscopy.  He is board certified with the American Board of Surgery.  Dr. Madison enjoys time with his family. 

Girish Nagesetty, MD

Dr. Nagesetty was born in India, where he completed Medical School before coming to the United States in 1975 where he served as a resident in General Surgery at Franklin Square Hosptial in Baltimore, Maryland.  He completed his vascular surgery Fellowship at Arizona Heart Instutue in Phoenix, Arizona, and has been in private practice since 1982. 

Dr. Nagesetty is happily married with 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

Ragavan Narayanan, MD

Dr. Ragavan Narayanan is a practicing Trauma Care physician at our Kettering Medical Center, Level II Trauma Care Center. Dr. Narayanan completed his Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, in Chicago, IL.

His hurricane relief efforts, combined with awards, experience, and research serves as witness to his dedication and excellence in providing excellent critical and emergency care to all those in need.

Paul O'Brien, MD

O'Brien MD, Paul  General Surgery

Paul O'Brien, MD is board certified in General Surgery and has more than 28 years of experience. Dr. O'Brien earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He completed his general surgery residency and internship at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

Brian Ondulick, DO

Dr. Brian Ondulick specializes in Hernia surgery which includes complex hernia repair, minimally invasive hernia surgery and is proficient in robotic hernia surgery.  He is co-director of the Hernia Center at Soin.  He is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and did his residency at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and is certified by The American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. 

Christopher Schneider, MD

Schneider MD, Christopher  General Surgery

Dr. Schneider is a Dayton native and graduate of the University of Dayton.  He attended the University of Cincinnati for medical school and then did his residency in Greenville, South Carolina.  He served on faculty at the University of Louisville prior to returning to Dayton and working at Kettering and Soin Medical Centers.  He now serves as Co-Director for the Kettering Health Network Hernia Center and is an expert in both simple and complex repairs. 

Dr. Schneider is a member of the American Hernia Society, SAGES, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  He is clinical faculty at Wright State University.  His practice includes minimally invasive and robotic general surgery along with all aspects of hernia repair including minimally invasive hiatal and paraesophageal hernia repairs.  When he isn’t teaching, operating, or speaking, he can be found at home hanging out with his wife or playing around with his two great kids.

Christa Siebenburgen, MD

Siebenburgen MD, Christa  General Surgery

Dr. Siebenburgen is a native of Cincinnati and graduate of the University of Cincinnati.  She attended Drexel University in Philadelphia for medical school and completed her General Surgery residency at Boston Medical Center. At University of Michigan, she completed a one-year Surgical Critical Care fellowship. She joined Kettering Health Network in 2016 with her primary focus at the Level 2 Trauma Center at Kettering Medical Center, where she is co-director for the MSICU. She enjoys additional general surgery and critical care work at Soin Medical Center and Greene Memorial Hospital.  Her elective practice encompasses general surgery, with a special focus on hernia repair. Dr. Siebenburgen is board certified in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.  Her memberships include the American College of Surgeons, Society of Critical Care Medicine, EAST, and the Americas Hernia Society.
