Ministry Care Line
Kettering Counseling Care Center operates a national 800 number phone service to give church professionals, and their immediate family members, confidential access to the support and consultation of a trained Christian mental health worker. In addition, subscribers have access to national directories for referrals to local Christian mental health professionals. The phone line functions as part of an organization's employee assistance program.
Hours: Mon-Fri, 2-5pm or Mon-Thur, 8-11pm [EST]
There are currently over 3,000 eligible employee participants plus family members in about 30 different subscribing organizations. The yearly cost per employee is less than many monthly magazine subscriptions. See below for current prices and plan options.
Available Group Subscription Plans
Per Person Option
$17.75 per eligible employee/member billed at the beginning of the subscription year. The organization's employees and immediate family members have unlimited access for one price. This is the best option for organizations that generate a quantity of calls greater than 25% of the number of their eligible employees (called the "Utilization Rate").
Utilization Only Option
$83.00 per call with no fees for non-usage. This allows an organization to give employees access even if only a few utilize the service. To protect the subscribing organization, there is a cost cap of $20.00 per employee per year; allowing every organization to make the service available without fear of out-of-control expenditures. In this plan, we bill at the close of each quarter. This option is usually the most cost effective for organizations with a Utilization Rate of less than 20%.
$10.00 per eligible employee/member per year billed at the beginning of the subscription year. PLUS: $26.50 per call from the organization billed after the close of each quarter. There is a cost cap of $19.00 per employee. This option is usually most cost effective for organizations with a Utilization Rate of 20-25%.
