Once you have transferred, you must wait at least a year prior to being eligible to transfer again.

  • Incomplete: One or more of the required sections on the application are incomplete. Your application will not be considered until the information is added.
  • Being reviewed: Your qualifications meet the requirements for the position and your application has been forwarded to the hiring manager.
  • Phone or Onsite interview: The hiring manager would like to schedule an interview and will contact you at the phone number you provided.

Qualified internal candidates are given preference when reviewing applications. However, the best candidate (internal or external) will be selected.

Your current manager will work with HR to determine your transfer date based on the staffing needs of your current unit. Most likely it will be within two pay periods.

It will depend on the type of position you are going into. Your HR department will work with you on an orientation schedule if needed.

You are still able to transfer. The hiring manager will review your information and make a determination as to whether they would like to proceed. If selected any disciplinary actions will transfer to the new department.

In order to be considered for transfer, you must complete a transfer request online for a specific job.
